As part of an educational outing I realized the night of the Louvre this Saturday with my colleagues and students. We were very well received by museum officials and officials. They explained the access to the Richelieu gallery, the route and the fun activities our high school students took part in. Bags with documents, plans and tools were offered at the reception and symbolic gifts at the exit. We divided into several groups of 10 students to teach on different circuits to make the course relevant and allow a better feat of the pavilions of the museum. Students from the Louvre School welcomed and presented the works to our students, then they exchanged a few minutes with this young public attentive and intrigued by the stories, the anecdotes and the technicality of the works which are exposed majestically on the high walls of the pavilions. Everything happens in a serene or fun atmosphere. The most tired or scattered students are often called to join the guide and his group or to rest on seats. I enjoyed the shows given by an orchestra of schoolchildren and Parisian college students and a troupe of young choreographers. Lastly, all the teachers and their students got together on the lawn of the Carrousel du Louvre garden, under a summer sun, to eat and drink. Sandwiches, cold drinks and treats were offered by the members of the educational team to all participants in this beautiful nightlife of the Louvre. We had to wait on the feet of a beautiful status also until sunset to break the fast in a good-natured atmosphere under the look of diverted Aristide Maillol's sculpture "Action chained". At 22:30, the return was imminent to the buses waiting for us in the parking lot of the Louvre.
