Numerous varied inside & outside activities (including physical, thought provoking and creative) are available throughout the day.
At the time I was a guest, the theme for the evening entertainment was "Big Bands." Every evening proved to be very 'lively and exciting,' recalling the music of my younger days!
Wonderful high quality food served, very caringly, in the massive Restaurant which offered many choices to every course; diets catered for - plus midnight food being available in a different area.
A beauty studio is sited next to a hair studio. Also, there is a Pop in Shop; a cash casino; Photo shop & studio; Internet stations.
The well equiped Palms Health and Fitness Club includes membership to outsiders, so I met many interesting local residents.
Electric Mobility Scooters are available, which, preferably, I believe, should be requested when booking - as with any other Special Requirements.
I shared a bungalow with a friend - in our case separate twin bedded rooms (one slightly larger than the other), with a bathroom sited between rooms. Therefore also suitable for a few friends or a family.
There are massive grounds which meant an exploration to different areas of the Resort could be made every day.
Bus stops are immediately outside the Resort entrance, which enable visits towards Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and even Norwich.
A comparatively easy, but steep, access via steps (&/or a slope) lead to the beautiful sandy small private beach, where I enjoyed a very long time paddling, has extremely interesting, large colourful shaped boulders. Overlooking the beach, on the cliff top there are many benches for anyone to just sit and watch the North Sea tidal waves.
All staff with whom I had contact, were extremely helpful with courtesy and a smile.
What a wonderful, if short, break, enhanced with good weather!
