Gorgeous view that almost made all the other crappy stuff worth it. We went to this hotel for Valentines Day. Big mistake. Besides being wildly overpriced, the valet service was an absolute sham. It would have been easier and faster to park at a public parking lot five blocks away and walk to the hotel than either get on the loading deck to unpack our car or to wait the three hours it took to get our car out of the "valet" parking. The excuse we were given was that three valets didn't show up to work. At over $600 for the night, that is no longer my problem. The managers should have been out there organizing and parking cars. The food was decent, not including the crust that had formed over my mashed potatoes from sitting under the heat lamp and the breakfast was definitely not worth the price. The glowing part of the night was the gorgeous view and spending the hours waiting for our car with my husband. When you get one or two weekends away a year this is NOT the choice I would ever make again. When I wrote to complain to the hotel I was offered a free upgrade. Hilton gave us that for free. No thanks. Pretty sad.
