I've been a big booster of Asbury Methodist Village ever since the early '70's when I was recruited by my church for some volunteer jobs at AMV. I continued volunteering here as an Asbury resident until 2019 my last job was in the Wilson Gift Shop, until it closed, first for renovation and then for the pandemic.
As a result of my volunteer activity here, I knew many years ago that I wanted to spend my retirement years at Asbury. My husband Joe and I have had the special pleasure of living here for more than 13 years.
It is such a warm, friendly, caring community with a huge variety of activities and programs at our disposal. You can be as busy as you like here, or you don't have to participate in anything. No pressure is put on you either way.
They feed us so well, the associates (employees) are kind, patient and caring and the beautiful 134-acre campus is a big plus to life here. Three levels of care are offered here, so there s peace of mind in knowing that your needs will always be accommodated. Asbury has done an amazing job of keeping us safe and healthy and happy during the pandemic. I really, really enjoy my life here!
