Brattle Book Shop is one of the coolest bookstores in the USA. It's just off the Boston Common on a historic side street. The bookstore itself sells used books on two levels. There's all types of books and you can easily get lost in the mix of it all. The store itself is no-frills and a book lover's dream, but the real magic is in the parking lot next to the shop. With brick buildings on all sides, books are on display on carts and in shelves built into the walls outside. It's so picturesque! If you love bookstores, this is one NOT to miss while in Boston.
