Naked Lens Review of nhow Rotterdam
Excellent room, view and comfort.
Excellent room, view and comfort.
But we had an incident that ruined our stay here.
We were overcharged at the Gastrobar restaurant of two bottles of mineral water.
When paying the bill at the desk, I've told the receptionist that we didn't took them.
Then we were asked to go to the restaurant with the manager who asked us to report the waitress (while her name was on the bill). As we weren't sure of the right person, the manager then asked us "was she asian ?". She was testing our honesty asking us to report someone, which I never did in my entire life, while she knew exactly who was the waitress. Then she went to get the waitress further away and get back with her. The waitress said she never served us (while it was her and her name was on the bill), that she never saw us before and the manager started to be very agressive with everybody. At this awkward point, we said "nevermind" and started to leave but the manager insisted to clear the situation and find the "truth". Truth was that this waitress served us two glasses of tap water (which seems to be forbidden in this place) and billed us two bottle of mineral water for it. When the manager started to notice that we were a little bit uncomfortable and just wanted to leave asap this place, she started to say that we will never know the "truth" and offered us two free drinks at the bar specifying "it's on me". Thank you but no thank you. When you work in an hotel, asking a customer to report one of your employee and implying that you are being dishonest for such as bottles of water is a little... paradoxical, isn't it ?
But however, the light in the room was very nice in the morning.
