Let me start off by telling you that I am an independent contractor investigating and writing reviews for a variety of travel websites. I flew to this hotel from California to write a review regarding concerns of different readers. I checked in on March 28 for a 3 day stay. The front personnel was very polite and I was pleased to hear that all my location requests were honored. Upon opening the door to my room I was pleased to discovered that the room decor was NOT outdated. It was very clean and orderly. I then walked into the bathroom and discovered the tub faucet was leaking. I tried to turn it off but was unable. I contacted Caitlyn at the front office and was told maintenance would contact me to make arrangements to view the issue and get it resolved. No calls all day. To save the water I placed the bathroom trash can under the faucet. When I returned to the room at 7:30 pm the can was overflowing. I decided to plug the tub to save the water and to show the maintenance man the amount leaking. To make a long story short. For two and half straight days and many promises from the front desk (Caesare and Caitlyn), I DEMANDED to speak to a manager. The manager immediately sent Tim (Customer Relations) and the maintenance man. They were surprised to see the tub almost full of saved water and the faucet flow on and could not be turned off. Tim apologized and offered me another room, but I had told him that Caitlyn told me no other rooms were available. The hotel was totally booked up. Another issue was a whining dog in the next room that kept me up whining all night. Was told it would be investigated. No resolution to that issue either. So... the hotel was not concerned about my concerns, lied to me that issues would be investigated and permitted a dog in the hotel where no animals were permitted. This hotel appears to be clean and comfortable but the management needs to get there act together for future clients needs to be addressed.
