I am actually wanting to give this place 0 stars b...

I am actually wanting to give this place 0 stars but am required to at least give 1 star in order to post this review.... I made a reservation here for me and my family to have dinner at the buffet. This place was recommended by many local bartenders in the area so i thought it'd be a good place to spend one of our last nights in Florida. The waitress was very nice and asked us what we'd like to drink. My girlfriend ordered one of the specialty drinks and Presented her ID to the waitress. The waitress responded that the ID looked strange because of the pink strip on the top that says "Enhanced Driver's License". We explained that the enhanced ID allows you to cross over to the canadian border without a passport since we live in Washington State. The waitress agreed and decided to have her manager inspect the ID. 5 Minutes later two bouncers and the manager show up to the table and confront my girlfriend to loudly embarrass her in front of the entire restaurant. The bouncer immediately says " This is not a valid drivers license, so here's what's going to happen.. I could call the police right now, have you arrested and you could get a felony for having a fake Drivers Licence. We assured them the ID was real and told them they should do a GOOGLE search to better understand this. They said a google search is not needed because the picture of the Enhanced drivers license wasn't in there book and there's more information on the drivers license then a regular license. They decide to call the police and made us stand outside for 30 minutes while they presented the strange piece of plastic to the police. The cop approached us and gave the ID back to my girlfriend who was embarrassed and crying at this point. They offered to comp our food but we were so discussed with the way they handled the situation that we no longer wanted to be anywhere near this place. Im very confused as to how one of the nicer hotels in the area has a couple of brainless meatheads working for them with no people skills. The manager had no balls and cowardly stood behind the bouncers as if we were a threat to his safety. This could have been easily handled maybe just outside the door and without backup. I hope and pray he loses his job or at least gets some additional training that he clearly needs as well as the rest of the bouncers who proudly waltzed back over to the club next door and did not feel the need to apologize. They stated that they didn t do anything wrong. We re not angry about them doing their job, were mad at how it was handled. I can clearly say i will never ever spend ANY money in this place nor recommend it to anyone. I ve never been treated so poorly. Learn how to treat people with respect. And Yes, I will be posting this review on several websites.
