This place is very nice, with only one exception: anyone and everyone who is employed here has absolutely no common sense. From the cleaning staff to the lodge restaurant to the ice cream shop. Don't miss understanding me. The staff is courteous, polite and nice, but damn no brains to think about customer service. When you ask a simple question, for example "where are the chocolate covered strawberries that you sell. All you get is a dumb founded look on there face. What genius decides to install a soap dish 12 to 16 inches from the shower head at head height, so every time you rinse your hair, you bang, your head. By the way, it's not just this place. The entire Dells. Work mentality is like this at least 90% of the work force here. It's not that this is a big deal, however same goes for Denny's, Starbucks mops and lifts all chairs upside down making appear they are closed 25 mins before closing time. Lights half out! Corporations have us at the halls, and it's all our faults as the consumers. Yes, times have changed, since we were kids, but this working program they use here is a good legal gimmick. "Do you speak English or understand? Their answer "yes", as you proceed to your question......there's the dumb founded look, me no understand???? Coffee??
