OUT OF TOWN CAR SHOPPERS, BEWARE!!! I've never in my whole car buying experience have something like this happen to me and my family today. My family and I have purchased new and certified used vehicles from large dealers before and this is by far worse than bad customer service. It's Mother's Day and we drove 3 hours from out of town to this dealership, who supposedly prides itself in strong and honest customer service, to look at two vehicles that was confirmed to me the night before by another sales person (Najaf Ali) via phone and again the morning of our arrival at the dealership by Brandon Mulipola, who was the sales person I've been corresponding with. To simply explain the situation, Brandon showed up at the used car lot and within an hour after talking to Ross Ludwig, the General Sales Manager, figured out that the vehicles were not even on the lot and available. The explanation I was given was that the cars were picked up sometimes over night or in the morning and transported to another affiliated dealership in San Francisco. This is not acceptable because as a dealership, you should no where your inventory is right away if it did move. Another problem I found fascinating was that they could not confirm whether the vehicles were sold or not and only said maybe one was sold. I feel that I have to share this for three main reasons, (1) for this size and level of a dealership, this should not have never happened at all to any customer looking for a vehicle, (2) there were two vehicles confirmed by the sales staff to be available, when in fact a physical inspection was never done to see if the vehicles were actually on the lot, and (3) as a customer, confirming the vehicles were available for sale on the lot when in fact it was not, was purely misleading. To be fair about this, Brandon did apologize about the mishap and I did allow them to try and relocate the vehicles but as a prospect customer, this just should never have happened in the first place and I will never feel confident about shopping at this dealership or out of town again.
