You can't make this kind of story up:

Today I had to take my 2016 Ram 1500 into the shop because of a computer fault recall. When the lady at the entrance of the service department ran the diagnostic she told me that I also had a faulty fuel sensor that would not allow other features like cruise control or the the remote start to work. I asked if it was covered under the warranty, she said yes...but that new vehicle warranties are only for 36,000 miles and I was at 36,900.

I calmly let the lady know how displeased I was that they would split hairs over something like that on an already pitiful warranty; I have only bought Japanese or German vehicles in the past, and never had issues this early or at an expense to me within the first four years. After the recall was fixed, the lady gave me back my invoice with a handwritten customer service number. She told me maybe they could help me out since my I was just out of warranty and the vehicle is only 2 years old. I drove home irritated, and when I pulled up to the house I saw I had a voicemail from the dealership. The technician had left the $3295 diagnostic device plugged in.

What a piece of poetic justice.

Also, never again buying a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep.
