Malanie Beverly Review of The Dawes Arboretum

I went and felt as though I'd traveled far, far away to a green sanctuary. There are trees from all over the world--labeled so that you know what you're looking at. And the place itself is huge! I'm sure one could visit 100 times and still find something new. I especially loved the bonsai exhibit, and the Japanese garden (which hosts a beautiful mediation house!). But no matter where I wandered I came upon beautiful gardens (the sensory garden with Lamb Ears!), a long, vine-ceilinged staircase, or some bestial tree. The Dawes Arboretum one of the happiest places on earth.
