I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled about going to a themed pub. "How does this place make any money?" I thought to myself. It makes money because 1. The food is fantastic (curried kangaroo is 5 star), 2. The staff are lovely, fast, helpful, engaing, and 3. The ambience is actually fantastic. We were in the basement and the acoustics of the cozy room were really good. We could hear each other speaking and hear the music and there were lots of other people but their noises were being absorbed by the furnishings. Further, I misplaced my phone and a very kind staff member took me through the pub helping me look for it (it was in my pocket.... oops) and he took it in good humour. I highly recommend this place.... and I never expected to say that.
