This is a review solely of the ski resort and not the lodge. There's a lot wrong, but a lot right as well.

Line management is terrible on most weekends and maintenance is awful. Lifts have been breaking down all season, bathrooms at midway were broken one weekend day and people were pissing in the woods. They never open 7 during the week (my favorite area to ski). They never open Buckhorn during the week. Don't even get me started on the food service - especially at the lodge at the bottom of 6. The staff there is laughably bad and moves like molasses.

But for all the bad, it's got a certain charm you cannot find on the massive corporate mountains. The twice a day web updates make my season. The views are gorgeous. The bartenders are friendly and usually move quickly. The music this year at midway is a nice touch and can be heard all through the upper mountain.

It's a very adequate place to ski and I'm happy to call it my home mountain most seasons. However, if the price of the season pass ever increases significantly, they have a ton of work to do to keep my mediocre three star rating.
