After thoroughly interviewing all possible professional upholsters from Asheville, NC to Hickory, NC, we decided upon the folks at Furniture Specialties. We weren't disappointed! They offered special concierge services every step of the way in completing two specifically difficult and large re-upholster projects for us within a few weeks, unlike others we could only pseudo-promise 3-4 month turn-around.

First, a large Executive completely tufted leather desk chair was meticulously rebuilt and finely upholstered with the finest distressed leather available, complete with new expertly applied nail-heads. The results were absolutely breathtaking. Nobody comes close in even replicating and making this chair any more. In fact, we first bought a new "wanna-be" chair from Hancock & Moore Manufactures for more than four thousand dollars (these are the historic folks that build the chairs for the U.S. Supreme court justices and more), but sadly returned it because it just didn't meet our standards of expectations. Quite instructively, it took the skill and loving care from Furniture Specialities to bring our classic 35 year old solid hickory-framed Executive chair to life again, unfortunately making Hancock & Moore's chair look like a cheap reproduction.

Furniture Specialities also reupholstered a leather Media Sectional making it look and function like new.... all the while saving thousands of dollars for jobs that will likely last another 20 years.... The bottom line: These folks have the skills, the know-how, the care and talent to make your furniture dreams come true! Never skimping on quality of design nor old-world craftsmanship, Furniture Specialties consistently ensured the best possible price while respecting your time constraints, keeping the entirety of all our aspirations within budget.
