Stephanie Roth Review of Cycle Loft

After spending hours of online research trying to find an available quality boys bike for my son s 9th birthday (and realizing fast that there is an international bike shortage), I reached out to several area bicycle shops on a Friday evening. I received multiple auto replies indicating that I should expect a delay in response time due to the overwhelming number of requests during this pandemic. I was also directed back to shops websites to purchase whichever one or two bikes happened to be in stock. Just as I resigned myself to the idea that my son wouldn t actually get a new bike until after his birthday, the owner of Cycle Loft Burlington emailed me back that same night at 11:30pm!! He advised me on the appropriate sized bike, compatible water bottle cage, and kickstand. He even processed my order himself, on a Friday past midnight! Just a couple days later, our new fully assembled lime green Cleary Owl 20 was ready for curbside pickup! The gentleman who brought out the bike was also helpful and kind and loaded the bike into the back seat of our sedan. Cycle Loft did reassure me in advance of pickup that a 20 kid s bike would fit into the back seat, which was a concern of mine. I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to Jeff Palter for personally tending to my desperate mom plea on a Friday late night and for fulfilling my son s birthday wish!!!!!! The bike is lightweight and sturdy, and the hand breaks are easy to squeeze for a 9-yr-old s hands. My son is just shy of 50 tall and has a 23 inseam. The Cleary Owl 20 should last him a couple of years with its adjustable seat.
