I had to think about whether I would give this hot...

I had to think about whether I would give this hotel 4 or 5 stars, in the end it will be 5 because so many points in this hotel surprised me positively. I have been vacationing in the Turkish Mediterranean region for 23 years and I saw some of them for the first time at this hotel. Since a text would be too long and confusing, I list the good and bad points.

What was bad:
-The shower on the beach is not particularly hygienic because everyone has to turn on the tap so that water flows -> ruthless because of Covid-19
-The night life and animation is not great, the bands are bad and the animation show is not entertaining. Plus there weren't even beach parties (which many hotels have)
-The food was delicious but always cold. No matter what time and in which restaurant it was always cold. Once I even saw another guest warm his plate with food on it in the microwave.
-I didn't have good information at check-in. We were literally only checked in and sent away. Nobody told us about eating a la carte (we only found out later ourselves) and we were not told that the Covid 19 test can be carried out in the hotel. In addition, we had to look for and find our room ourselves, we were not shown and it is not a huge building where you can find the room quickly, but many distributed blocks.
-There were way too many (especially inconsiderate) Russians in the hotel. Most of them behaved like the Germans on the Ballermann.
-A small part of the staff could hardly speak Turkish, which surprised me very much.
-Left and right of the beach is walled up, so you cannot run / jog along the beach

What was good:
-There were disinfectant dispensers every 50 meters

-The lifeguard on the beach takes your job dead seriously and keeps his eyes open all the time and runs immediately if something strikes him as strange
-There is 24/7 security on the beach
-You can get masks for free everywhere
-The COVID-19 test can also be carried out in the hotel
-The chips in the Derya Restaurant were delicious on their own, but they were only available once. Please bring out more often.
-There are very many lying on the beach and on the jetty
-The minibar in the room is well stocked with chips and pretzel sticks
-You can change the towels from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., which I was personally very happy about and there is a station on the beach and one at the pool
-You have very good WiFi everywhere, even on the beach
-There are two jetties on the sea, one is very long and public and the other is private to rent
-You are always served in the restaurants, very good Covid measure
-The best comes at the end: There is an extra house for guests whose return flight is late in the evening. That means you can reserve a cabin there after checking out and stay in the hotel for the whole day. The house has showers, toilets, sofas and TVs. This is what I liked best and I had never experienced such service in any hotel before.

In short, I am very satisfied with this hotel and I could even imagine coming back if there were fewer Russians and the food was warm, it would of course be even better.
