I'm giving the Marco Polo hotel 3 stars. There were things we liked very much, and others that would make us not stay again. First, the mountain view room on 14th floor, was nice, and clean.. but average at best. Not 4 star or above. The food is overpriced, sorry to say.. but delicious. Poolside / ala carte menu was the most reasonable, and still twice the price of similar foods outside. I guess I can live with that, for a couple nights. Breakfast buffet was excellent, and the best I had so far, in Cebu. Would have liked also to try the lunch or dinner buffet.. but at P1300 and P1600.. I had to pay for 3 people. We passed, regrettably. I also wanted to treat my family to the Blu penthouse restaurant with the view. Prices were higher, than in NY. My wife decided we would eat outside after seeing the menu. Unusual, for her. We are not cheap people, but it Is ridiculously priced, too high. Ok, for those that don't need to manage a budget...and I'm sure, wonderful. What is needed.. is another more reasonable food option(s), for the common folks that want to enjoy a nice holiday there... seriously. The staff was wonderful, and cannot say enough good things about them. No reflection on the food prices, to them. I address the food price concerns, to management.
