Breakfast buffet is so good. Beautiful hotel lobby.

Conveniently located in the center of Davao. The price was a quality that could be a little cheaper.

Great Place for bonding... So peaceful and clean... The staff are so accommodating. Food served are great.

It needs some improvement.

The rooms are OK and the staff are great.

As for the food, their buffets (breakfast and lunch) are amazing. Highly recommended and really worth the price. The choices are vast and top especially the cheese and ham selection.

However, we were disappointed with the Club Sandwich as the bread used was very dry. For the price, it is not so representative of a Marco Polo quality.

The Signature Tea is interesting and worth it. But if you want the signature coffee, you might be asked to wait for 20mins to an hour. We had to cancel our order.

This hotel offers a lot, from big comfortable rooms to amazing breakfast buffets. The staff are very accommodating and the location is very convenient. The service is superb from the time you enter until you leave the hotel. The rooms are good and always clean. The price is not cheap but you ll find good deals online. Food in their cafes/restaurants are great and very delightful. Would definitely recommend

Spent New years Eve at Marco Polo. Food was mediocre and although tasted fine, it was cold mostly. I also had the runs next day. A let down.

Spent our Valentines Day 2014 here and wow sooooo Amazing!! Food is great plus the Service we experienced is Five Star classy. :)

Since writing my review below [in bracket], Marco Polo Davao has offered me goodwill to mitigate the issues I raised. They have upgraded my room so that I will feel the luxury of staying in Marco Polo Hotel. They have also given me access to continental suite on the 17 floor which offers breakfast and dinner. I have to say I am impressed with how the Marco Polo management resolved my complaints on top of the apology I received. Because of this I changed my rating of Marco Polo from 1 star to 5 star. I will surely stay in this hotel again.

[The last 4 days I stayed here the toilet won t flash properly. I have to call in several times and the action of their services is very slow and inefficient. The 5th day the water supply stopped in the middle of me taking a shower. I called reception and they said they are undergoing repair and it will last 2 hours before watet returns. This is not a luxury hotel. This hotel is old and the features are outdated. I will never stay in this hotel again!]

Always a great experience to be in this place. I like their restaurant. The waiters are friendly and courteous.

Ellegant, classic, many varies of breakfast buffet with modern and traditional menu. Only walk distance from Aldevinco Gift Market.

I like the pool - for long lapses. Buffet breakfast is good, many choices and viands. But for fruits, only watermelon and pineapple were served. I like their granola with dried fruits and their flavored yogurt. Only 4 kinds of cheese were available.

I love the place, its location- just across the life of davao city at night! Cross to your right when you exit the hotel and you'll find yourself surrounded by various kinds of streetfoods. I spent two consecutive nights there eating fresh native durian, the famous charcoal ice cream, and isaw. It's also just across the Aldevinco mall where you can buy pasalubong handicrafts and native stuff, pomelo, durian ice cream, etc.

This is the best and the most expensive hotel in Davao City. When on top, one can see the beauty of davao city city. The location is perfect for tourists local and international as it is right at the center of the city.

Buffet at Marco Polo is highly recommended and senior's are 50% discount during Saturday buffet its a big savings.

Upon arrival we confirmed to give us 2 big beds but available is 2 single beds however they have queen bed that's is super big just like king size bed .... and I answer are u sure it's big enough coz I got back problem... avoiding to be bump by my husband when sleep.... and he said yes it's bigger like king size.... Upon arrival inside the room we are disgusted to see a queen size bed .. so tired on our 2 connecting trips my husband told me to settle tomorrow.... I think this is my first and last visit in Davao Marco polo....

Geting old. Seems like they cant not really afford the maintenance. Good security.

What a wonderful staff of people that work there. I stayed at places 2 times the money and this staff of employees was the best . Great place.

The facilities were great. I do love the place, the staffs, and the people. Congratulations for meeting the needs of all the costumer.

The room is alright but the breakfast is good and most of all it is downtown so close to the hopping area and the mall

It's getting just a wee bit shabby as do most buildings in this climate, but the staff are absolutely top notch. There was considerable security including metal detector and search on entry which got annoying and I felt isolated from town, which if that's what you're looking for, this is the place. The fitness facility is solid.

Note: for some reason this shows up across the river on some maps, but it is located as shown on the Google map and there is no other.

Cafe Marco is one of the best restaurant inside Marco Polo Hotel.
Its food delicacies are unique in such a way that it cannot be found in other dining buffet.

The staff and service are the best of all the hotels ive been to!

As guest to the hotel, it s great but as an event supplier, its nightmare. Backdoor security really really sucks.

This has been my home 2 decades ago. Glad to be ba k after all the years.

As you probably know, more and more potential customers are going online and reading about companies before they do business with them. For me, you should experience it or this review might help you as well. So far, this is where you can meet new and good people. Staffs are accommodating and since I mostly receives service specifically at their fitness gym, there is a trainer there named Dennis who helped clients with quality and with professionalism. Makes you feel very welcome. CHEERS!

Security wise..its tight that even you buy something from the convenience store there still have to check it. They have this xray machine outside before you enter. Service wise, its slow specially when checking in or out. Buffet wise for bfast lunch or dinner, alot of choices but its almost the same choices every day. And it is a bit expensive. Same as the room rate, I think its over priced knowing that its the only hotel here in the vicinity if you're looking for a class star hotel. House keeping was great though! It fast and they clean and organize everything. Employees were warm and friendly as well. Over all it was a great experience still
