Review of Debt Rescue

Debt Rescue was supposed to administer and handle ...

Debt Rescue was supposed to administer and handle my accounts, I paid them for this service. 4 years into Debt Review and nearly at the end of it I had to hear that an account of FNB never received payment. FNB converted the account and changed the account number. Debt Rescue has been paying the money into the cheque account, and FNB is now claiming R14000 as fees and interest on the cheque account and refusing to transfer the payments to the account it was intended for. In the beginning of this process I was told by debt Rescue to open a new account because the cheqeu account would form part of the debt accounts due to the overdraft. I was also promised that they would deal and arrange everything with my account holders. FNB did not inform me or Debt Rescue of this account number change. Since Debt Rescue however work with this and promised to arrange everything with the creditors I hold them just as responsible as FNB. They never queried why they did not receive a conversion letter. I did not expect any letter or had any knowledge there off. And they did not prepare me for it either. Now FNB wants R25 000 more, despite R14000 already paid for an overdraft that started with R16 000. Despite this I have given them since the 15. 10.2019 to help me solve this with FNB. They are not helping. Always asking for more time. If you are under debt review or considering it be careful, check now what is going on. Don't fall into the same trap as me.
