My boyfriend and I adopted our cat from here in August and he is awesome! The problem is the vet. We have decided this is kind of a "Get what you pay for" situation, considering it is low cost. My cat had an upper respiratory infection within a week of having him. We brought him in, got antibiotics for him and we were on our way. We took him to the kennel over Thanksgiving and the lady pointed out that his eyes were really watery and seemed concerned. Back we went and the vet told us his tear ducts are probably scarred from having two respiratory infections before he was 6 months old (he had one before we got him). So, as we were leaving they told us we owed them money from a previous visit. They said we didn't pay them $10.00 from the last time we were there. Why would I pay everything but $10.00? Or why would they let me walk out owing $10.00? I just don't understand how that works. The receipt from that time had it crossed out in black which we showed them and the lady said "oh we will take care of it don't worry about it." On top of that being a little irritating, less than 24 hours of us bringing him in, he is sicker than a dog. The vet had listened to his chest and everything and said he was perfect other than some small tear ducts and now he is sicker than I have ever seen an animal before! We took him somewhere else and this vet just can't kick the infection so I tried to bring him back here considering they DID get rid of his sickness completely before, which is the important part. Now I am told I have to wait over 2 weeks and instead of it being $10.00 "I owe", it is now $20.00. I told the lady on the phone the price is different than last time and someone had said they were going to take care of it and not to worry about it last time and she in a rude tone "well it is more now and someone will be contacting you about it." Yeah, I got off the phone and instantly began searching for a different vet to take him too. Yes adopt your animals from here, but go to a different vet!
