FYI - I attended the performance of Waist Watchers...

FYI - I attended the performance of Waist Watchers on Saturday, March 5 with an out-of-town friend. The performance was fun and well done. We both enjoyed it.

However, the experience before the performance embarassed me and made me consider cancelling the tickets I bought for a future performance. First: the usher at the door was rude. Not only did he refuse to allow anyone in the door even though the time was past 7:30 pm. and it was beginning to rain, but he was unfriendly and caustic.
Then: the condition of the (construction) area through which we walked to get to the "theatre" was treacherous and unpleasant. The "theatre" was basically an open space with seats around it - no stage. There is only one set of restrooms which is decidedly distanced from the "theatre".

Perhaps it would be better to suspend operations during this period of construction or at least warn patrons of the conditions. I would not have brought a guest to this performance if i had known what lay in store for us. Also, the front door should be staffed by someone who has basic civility for those who paid to be there.
