I will start my review by mentioning one thing that the website fails to elaborate on. When purchasing your tickets online, which I highly recommend to ensure your spot is not sold out when you arrive, make sure you read each experience's description carefully. The Arch entry-only ticket DOES NOT get you access to go to the top of the arch. You must purchase The Journey to the Top tickets to ride the tram up to the top.

On that note, I did not read the description thoroughly and bought the Arch entry-only tickets the night before. Since we visited on Memorial Day, the arch was crowded and tickets were sold out for the Journey to the Top. Being the ambitious person I am, I spoke with Karen at guest services and was able to get two tickets up to the top. We received the tourist and newly wed treatment!

Fair warning to larger folk, the tram entrance and pods are small (as you can see in my reaction). About 4 feet tall and 2.5 feet wide. I am 6'7" 300 pounds and we fit 4 in the pod snug like with little room to spare. Make sure you request that only 3-4 people be in your pod for the leg room is sparing.

The staff were helpful and had great knowledge of the arch and the history of the surrounding area. Karen saved our visit, and we greatly appreciate for it was a wonderful experience to end our mini honeymoon weekend to St Louis!
