Recently adopted a kitten here within the last 3 days. As soon as i picked the cat up he had a stuffy nose and was sneezing everywhere. The kitten a day after started having a bunch of saliva just building around his mouth. I went back to the shelter because they sold me a sick cat, not intending on giving the kitten back but wanting help or for them to take care of the kitten that they sold me sick. The shelter told me that it isn t their responsibility, that they can not keep cats from getting sick and refused to help take care of my kitten because they are a shelter, although they have a clinic there, they wouldn t even look at my kitten. I trusted this shelter to provide me with a cat that I could bring home to be my kittens friend and now I have to pay for a vet bill to help my kitten who they put in danger because their lack of caring for their animals. I also have a one year old that I was scared could be sick from the kitten. They also stated on the kittens paperwork I adopted that before surgery he got a brief cage side exam due to ran out of time . This shelter doesn t seem to care about their animals and not one employee cared, they were all rude and had attitudes every single time I came in. I got an attitude from an employee even for calling to check on the kitten when he was getting neutered to come home. I will never again adopt from this shelter. I will always go to Pet Alliance where I ve adopted 3 cats, had no issues and the employees are always friendly.
