Nice, little, quirky public library. The San Jose library is built-in on the SJSU campus so it was definitely a frequent visit for me. This library has 8 floors! Floors 6-8 are silent floors so it's actually quite peaceful.

It was a great place to get some work done, definitely quiet enough, and there's plenty of meeting rooms. You have to book them ahead of time.

I have never taken one of the library tours here but there is plenty of interesting artwork and quirky elements that you can learn about. Pay attention to the sinks in the bathrooms - there's one sink that gets smaller as you go up the floors. There's also a secret Alice in Wonderland door in the non-glass elevators! Keep your eyes peeled for little art pieces that will make your day :)
