Air conditioning in the room didn't operate proper...

Air conditioning in the room didn't operate properly; we had to keep the drapes closed during daylight hours, because the sun would heat the room up to 28+ C. Lobby and public spaces were always jammed with dozens of meeting goers, and breakfast was a zoo for similar reasons. The elevators were constantly in use, so that getting up or down generally entailed long waits. (I was headed up to 21, when a bellman with a luggage cart and a young couple with a baby in tow crowded on at 14 to ride up because they had been waiting fruitlessly for a down elevator.) The view bar was also packed, with inadequate seating and staffing. Check-in took quite a long time, even though reception was not crowded at that particular moment. All in all, far from a five-star experience.
