Had an appointment scheduled by a third party comp...

Had an appointment scheduled by a third party company. Arrived to my appointment to see that I was scheduled, but no referral documents were sent. Took about 25 minutes for the documents to be faxed over. (Not their Fault, I get it) after I was cleared I was told it would be 25 minutes. I m patient so I waited. DISCLAIMER: I am a manager at a hospital. I understand that patients get called before others based on what they are there for and it may appear that you have been forgotten about. Based on this experience I sat patiently watching patient after patient be called back. After sitting a total of 2 hours I approached the desk and say to the lady that I ve been waiting for a while and that I would probably have to go and return. She pleasantly looked at me and said okay we close at 9 . Did not even offer to see what the delay was for me. UPDATE: I returned and I ve literally been sat for 45 mins for basic routine x-rays. Not an US or an MRI that takes a while, but simple x-rays. I would never go for this in my facility. Common courtesy customer service is lacking heavily (guess once your checked in they re done with you). Now I m wondering how many DI rooms they have because this is ridiculous. UPDATE: Now I know what the delay was and my assumptions were correct. They have 1 x-ray room and 1 technologists working 3 sections (MRI, CT & X-Ray) outrageous! I can almost guarantee they are not being paid enough to work that hard and that unsafe. Worst part about it ... my X-ray literally took less than 5 minutes. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
