An awe-inspiring site, the buildings, gardens and Abbey itself will have you lost for words. Great place to visit, very calming and not to busy when we went in May 2019. Facilities providing great quality food at good prices, a nice bonus!

Easily had us occupied for around 3+ hours. Two very nice separate shops filled with Monastic produce, books, high quality Glassware and of course the fantastic Buckfast Tonic Wine which I would recommend to anyone! Buying it is a great way to support the Abbey as well and the price in the shop is beyond reasonable. Other very nice local attractions near by as well make this a highly recommended place to visit from me.
