I researched all the retirement villages in Albuquerque and decided on Montebello and we are so very happy! Its a fabulous place - my folks are in independent living. My mom has made so many friends and just loves the social aspect of living there! Its like a great big home where everyone knows your name! My parents have gotten to know so many interesting people- they love getting to know everyone and hearing their stories and there's so much for them to do! They love the Wednesday happy hour - its a big event and they look forward to that weekly social hour! There's always some kind of special event they can attend. I never worry about them - I had been constantly worrying about them not eating properly and getting to the stores for their necessities when they were in their own home and Montebello took all that worry away! All the folks that work there are just the greatest! They're always planning something to keep the residents happy. We are just thrilled - ALL of us!
