We called ahead, made reservations for 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. No wait, great start. Unfortunately, the dining experience went down hill from there. The appetizer was delicious but when requesting a paired cocktail, our waiter was clueless. Alright...we came for ribs and pulled pork shoulder (their specialty) they were out of both and the next 2 requests we made. Our waiter suggests brisket. I am not thrilled but we order it anyway. Out came our food. Obviously the last brisket of the evening because it was disgusting. Overcooked beyond words..perhaps cardboard describes it best. It was, without a doubt, the driest piece of meat I have ever tried to eat. My husband ate some of his but could not finish it. The sides were lukewarm at best. I felt sorry for the waiter because it wasn t his fault and we did tip him over 20%. But the meal was $140.00 before tip. NEVER AGAIN. I will say, the Bottle of Malbec was fantastic. It s a drag they charged us $55.00 and the wine list price was $40. We were looking for a restaurant we could put into the rotation. Very unfortunate experience.
