If you can't get a comfortable night's rest at a hotel, then everything else it offers is irrelevant.

This hotel is highly overrated. Yes, the building is pretty and the location is great. But when our room temperature rose to 85 degrees, the staff told us that because this was an historic building the air conditioning only heats, it does not cool (ridiculous, but demonstrated by the boiling temperature of our room). Their solution was to open our window and use the thermostat to balance the 34 degree night air. This brilliant strategy had two problems. First our temperature see-sawed between frigid and hot. Second, we had to keep our curtains open, so we were able to "enjoy" the spotlight they keep pointed at the historic exterior all night long. We would have gotten a better night's rest at a cheap chain.
