Set up a Pinterest account to help my mom with inspiration for a new business she started. Only pinned a few pictures, then received an email saying the account had been deactivated due to spammy activity. I knew it must be a mistake as I had only pinned a few things, so I appealed the deactivation. Then I received an email saying my appeal had been reviewed and they would not be reactivating my account. Still convinced there was a mistake, I reached out for help, only to receive an unhelpful response reiterating their refusal to reactivate or help me figure out a solution. Disappointed in Pinterest s attention to user needs and questions.
