The Prior-Authorization Dept, at the 57th Street Center is ill equip, and incompetent. One manager processes prescriptions after 8 to 10 days. Meanwhile the patient suffers and dose not receives the proper medical attention the doctor struggles to provide. And no attempts are made to correct the ill assistance the patient on following visits with the same problem, with "Prior Authorization" procedures.. It's a shame that a multi-million dollars business allows it;s staff at P. A. to provide such incompetent assistance to the less fortunate patients.
