We have been a long time customer of Isaac and are a Gold Seal customer for many years. We have purchased our heating, air conditioning and hot water tank through them over the years, and have always been satisfied, until yesterday. We had contacted Isaac Plumbing to replace a kitchen sink faucet. we had purchased in advance the faucet as directed by Isaac when we called for the appointment. We were also lead to believe that the service call ($59) would be rolled into the cost of the instillation. When the service man, Shawn (who was very nice), arrived he looked at the area for installation and said the cost would be $159 and change, plus the service fee. I explained that is not what we were told when we called. My husband then called the office. We were told that all calls are recorded and if that's what we were told that is what they would honor. The gentleman on the phone who spoke with my husband listed to the call and told him "I have listened to the call and I see how you could have thought that the service charge was rolled into the cost of instillation, however that is not our policy and you will need to pay the service call". My husband tries to pursue further and the Issac rep became very rude and short. We did end up proceeding with the work. While Shawn was here I requested another quote for a bathroom sink and faucet replacement. Shawn took photos and measurements and said a quote would be sent. Today I received a call from Issac the man who called was going on about a cabinet being replaced and when I told him I just wanted the sink and faucet replace he too became nasty and short. This experience with Isaac started going bad with the $59 service call, but got so bad with the rudeness for the employees that bottom line- for a lousy $59 they have lost a customer who has spent thousands over the years and now has no intention of returning ever again! Your work and service can be excellent and your pricing not properly explained from the start- but I can never forget how we have been treated by your representatives. That is not forgiven or forgotten.
