I was really pleased with my experience at Sala. I wanted a menu that didn't force me into seafood, and didn't include pork as an ingredient in every dish. From the small plates (highly recommend the fried goat cheese with candied onions and honey); the sangria; and the organic chicken, everything was excellent. Our service was great, too; especially as an out-of-towner, I am usually disappointed with the snotty attitudes of NYC waitstaff - but not here! Honestly, I'll be recommending this to anyone looking for tapas in the city.
