I got a new HVAC on Saturday. I spent the last several weeks talking to my friend in Florida who owns a large HVAC company, researching brands, comparing warranties, and getting quotes from local dealers. I can say with a high degree of confidence that your best bet is Quality 1 Energy Systems, the official Trane dealer for this area. Incidentally, Trane is the best quality brand in my friend s opinion. Q1ES sold me a Trane XR16 (16 seer) for $9,260 with 0% financing for 6 years ($8,000 cash price) and has all of the good qualities of the companies below rolled into one. Ask for Zak, the customer service is a cut above.
