Since we've stayed at the hotel in a rather strange period, i.e. period under the circumstances of covid 19 all around us, it was perfectly understandable that services could not be at their top, but according to my opinion, there is a great gap between persons working on chek in / check out (for example, Mrs Alessandra, Mr director etc) and the staff supposed to take care of breakfast /dinner. The first ones are so kind, well prepared, professional, educated..everything the others are not. As a matter a fact the part of the staff of the hotel taking care of food, bar, restaurant etc does not seems to be at the Relais & Chateaux property level. The only one that really makes difference between them is a lady bar tender (don't remember her name but she was the only woman, and she is 40 years old), a great professionist at her job.
We have had a really terrible experience and impression at the breakfast. Waiters completely unorganised, hurrying up and down without any sense, speaking loud, taking orders without a certain line to follow, mixing them up, forgetting lots of pieces and acting as if it was a bar/ pizzeria/ any other place but Relais et Chateaux. I think this is not at all a great visit card the hotel can leave to anybody.
Fortunately, there were so many other persons so cute and professional in their jobs, that did they best and took absolutely care of pampering us for 2 days we spent at this hotel.
