Looking for my membership card. My "patient advocate" said I could see my doctor without it, and I responded that my doctor would probably want to be paid for his services. My "patient advocate" agreed and told me that I could print a temporary one from their website. I asked for my group and member numbers, so that I could do that. The "patient advocate" told me that he was "going into the system to retrieve that information" and twenty seconds of clicking keys later, I was disconnected. When I called back, there were "long wait times." It's experiences like this one that make me believe in a single-payer healthcare system, like the rest of the developed world.
