I used Mountain Reservations for our family ski trip over Christmas 2014. Due to misleading statements and lack of detail they cost us a lot of money. I had an $850 trip insurance that I never saw proof of buying but was charged for. We cannot get our money back for ski lift tickets on one of our members that could not go - was under assumption from company that "everything" was covered in case a member couldn't go on trip. I also mentioned that our boys were actively deployed and it was never mentioned to me that they could have gotten lift tickets at half the price. I felt very deceived and mislead by this company and paid a huge price of $13,000 for a trip that I could have spent a lot less if they truly would have been honest about deadlines, prices and discounts that were available. Never again will I book through MOuntain Reservations. Be aware of any promises they make and be sure to see proof of insurance before buying - big mistake on my part. It didn't cover "everything" as they tell you over the phone. Shady not to ever get a copy of that insurance policy I supposedly bought.
