Ameristar is one of my favorite casinos. It is clean, has very friendly and helpful employees and excellent food. The buffet here has a super selection of food that is high quality. I have not stayed at the hotel for many years, but when I did, the room was nicely appointed, clean and had an outstanding bathroom. The casino itself is clean, well lit and has a very nice variety of table games and slot machines. Coming from Illinois, I pass several casinos that are closer, but Ameristar is worth the drive!
