This hotel is very beautiful inside and out. The rooms were very clean and elegantly decorated (the queen sized beds seemed a little small, but this was no real negative.) The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
This hotel also has good amounts of lore with it, If you stay here I recommend having a chat with the hotel concierge Larry, he is very knowledgeable about the lore, who also wrote a book about this hotel.

The restaurants in this hotel have very good food and the wait staff are awesome, friendly, and quick at what they do.

Also right around the corner is the fourth st. live, which is a nice area of bars and restaurants, I do recommend trying the restaurants in the hotel first.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is headed to Louisville.
