That being said, the saleswoman in the showroom is fantastic. She is polite, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Over the years we have spent many thousands of dollars with myknobs. Most recently we changed every door knob and hinge throughout the house. Approximately 35 doors. So that order was costly. Two weeks later we are ordering more door knobs for our newly finished basement. Once again with the assistance of the saleswoman. This time the order came in wrong. We contact myknobs and at first they seemed apologetic and stated they are aware of some products not having the correct images. They said they would get back to us to see how the exchange would happen. After a several days of no return calls and no reply to our additional calls my wife went to the showroom with the incorrect order. The saleswoman gladly accepted the incorrect order back and had no concern about some of the packaging not being there and proceeded to help with replacing the order. Great! All seems fine.

A week later my wife finally gets a call from a unpleasant rep saying that they can not accept the return as some of the packaging is missing. This is what is unacceptable. They screwed up the site and therefore the order and now going to try a squirm out of it. Such nonsense. The issue is not about money it s the principle. We told them straight that we would have to dispute the charges and go elsewhere if a simple exchange was not going to happen. They responded with let s cost share and asked me to pay around $100.00. Again not about the money. They would rather offend us for a measly $100 than do the right thing. They said they would check with the owner and get back to us within 24 hours. 3 days later still no response so we started the dispute. So short sighted. Then the low moral so called people at myknobs sent the original incorrect order back to us for them to avoid being in possession of the goods to better their odds with the dispute. Guess what? We denied the package. Again short sighted. They probably spent $30.00 in trying to ship it to us. Dummies!

So, aside from the saleswoman at the showroom the people behind this website are far from good decent people.

I truly hope this review sways people from shopping here and avoid any outrageous nonsense that come along with their mistakes.

PS, we placed the exact same order on another website and spent less money and the order was fulfilled without incident.

I share this story several times a day and I know it has already taken business away from them.

6/24/19 Update

The reply from my knobs is full of blatant lies. This makes them even more scary as they have no regard for honesty and will say whatever they need to avoid taking responsibility. The fact is they know their website is misaligning pictures with product descriptions and when it comes time to own up they look to have the customers pay for the mistake. Nice.

It is mentioned that they offered to swap out the incorrect backplates, this never happened. If so we would not be here. They also claim that we returned the product damaged. Also not true. We hand delivered them to the showroom after zero call backs from myknobs. When delivered the saleswoman gladly accepted them and knew some of the packaging was missing and none of it was damaged. With a smile she said no problem this was our error and we will fix it. Apparently upper management does not agree. So now the upstanding people at myknobs must have damaged the goods and will lie and scream foul play to fight the credit card dispute. This company is without morals and say and do anything to clear themselves.

Don t fall for it people. Go elsewhere. We did and had the correct product within the week.
