The palace is a fine dining experience, we ate in the lower level "the bird room" which has remarkable decorating including actual taxidermied birds on the wall.
I had the quail with the turtle soup as an appetizer and it was very good. I will note that there was some thought of doing The "chef's tasting menu" however to do such required the entire table ordering as such.
We were there for my girlfriend's birthday and her desert (not complementary) did come adorned with A birthday candle.
The bread pudding souffle was most people's choice for dessert though I was not as impressed as the reviews it got.
The service was pleasant and our waiter Troy was nice but occasionaly snarky.
I would absolutely eat here again though there are other places I might consider ahead of it. The prices are to be expected at any fine dining establishment and over all are fairly reasonable.
