You get what you pay for. This was a budget friendly option when we needed to book 2 rooms and bring our small dog. The pool was appreciated after spending the day at the parks.
Some downsides for us: the bed base was open, which allowed our small dog to get under the bed, which is obviously not the easiest place for housekeeping to get to.
