I was a member of DesignCrowd as a designer until recently. I found that they take too much of the contest money with their fees. This is not upfront, so a designer thinks that they are receiving the full contest amount, but actually receive less. DesignCrowd are also terrible at managing contests and some are left in limbo with no winners for years, without being closed or any designers paid. I have now closed my account after they sent my payment to the incorrect account. When I enquired about the error, Lei from Support was dismissive, condescending and refused to cancel the incorrect payment and reprocess it to my account. I would not recommend this platform to any serious designers.
