I want to love this hotel, but I don't. I just like it. We got a room with a private balcony, which is great, because the room is about the same size as it was, and it gave us a place to hang out while we let the air conditioner pull the strange musty smell out of the air.

The beds are comfortable, but the cleaning service doesn't know how to clean. The bathroom had suspicious brown smudges on the walls, and they didn't bother to wipe off obviously dirty surfaces in the bedroom. Also, the ridiculously-designed shower (with an immobile partial glass wall) sprayed water all over the floor, forcing us to remove the lake with the rest of our towels.

The hotel has interesting architecture, and the (very attractive) service is friendly, young, hip, and a little out of it. What kind of bartender doesn't know what a Tom Collins is?

The location is great, but next time I'm probably staying elsewhere.
