We always have such a lovely time at the national zoo & aquarium. We have been lucky enough to have memberships so are able to go all the time and it never disappoints. The staff are always smiling, the animals look so well looked after and the displays are so beautiful. It's a tranquil walk through the zoo and there are lovely places to stop in shade and have a sit and snack. The aquarium and reptile displays are small but much like the rest of the zoo, it's beautifully done and the range of animals are fantastic. I honestly feel so proud that such a wonderful zoo is in my hometown. Do yourself favour and splurge on a membership! It's the best activity for the family.
