My daughter started at the YWCA when she was 2 months old. She had extremely terrible reflux to the point where I was embarrassed to take her and leave her for them to deal with all day. However, the infant room teachers quickly bonded with my baby, and I felt comfortable leaving her in their care everyday. I loved walking in there each day and seeing how they loved on all those babies constantly giving them attention.
My daughter has never cried when being dropped off at the YWCA each morning, so I feel very reassured that I have in her in the right place. She has now moved on to the mobile infants room, but she still makes a visit to her infant room teachers daily.
We recently moved to Tucker, so we visited other centers out of convenience for our new commute. We decided to do whatever it takes to stick with the YWCA because we cannot bear the thought of having another center care for our child. They're not perfect, but it is obvious that the teachers love kids and love their jobs. Everyone there is friendly, down-to-earth, and I appreciate each and every one of them.
