Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but bland dishes and value for money bad.
Far too expensive !

I enjoyed the stay, it is a nice restaurant with a cosy interior but still modern. The food was good and the price a such was standard for Luxembourg. The only thing which bothered me a lot was the flickering lights all over the place. Please do something about this.

Poor service which transfers bad energy to the client. Medium level food . The opposite of a value for money choice. Very nice location though. Decoration is excellent.

Excellent food and service. The Spanish entrees were very good and the mushrooms risotto was also delicious.

Went there for dinner with friends. The interior design of the place is modern and very tasteful, yet it has the kind of genuine character you see in older places. The appealing setting already made for a good start and the service did not disappoint one bit. In fact, I think it's quite rare to find such good service in Luxembourg where waiters tend to be a little grouchy. At strogoff, the waiters were all very nice and attentive. They serve different types of Italian food, very tasty. Definitely worth checking out.

Ambiance is great. Food is not worth the money. If you enjoy eating as an experience, try somewhere else.

Unlike the name it is an Italian restaurant.
The only attraction of this restaurant is its location and the large bay window.
Otherwise it does not break three legs to a duck .... a kind of improved canteen

I've been there twice and a bad experience each time.

The first time was for lunch, the food was below the standard expected from an Italian restaurant: my pasta was over cooked and was sticking together (I expected having al dente pasta), what I got was waaay worse. My friends French fries were all soft and lacking any crispiness. We got them sent back and she got new fries, which essentially were the same.

The second time was for dinner with a group of friends. Having learned from my first bad experience, I stayed clear of pasta and the like and ordered a ceviche Koh Tao . The ingredients included lime, coconut milk and coriander. The price was EUR 26.

I like ceviche and often have it at various places. For those who don t know the dish, Wikipedia defines ceviche as : Ceviche is marinated in a citrus-based mixture, with lemons and limes being the most commonly used. In addition to adding flavor, the citric acid causes the proteins in the seafood to become denatured, appearing to be cooked.

Koh Tao is an island in Thailand so logically, what I expected was raw tuna marinated in lime juice with an Asian/Thai twist. So hopefully with a hint of Thai spices maybe.

My friend ordered the same dish. What we got was essentially slices of raw tuna (like sashimi), NOT MARINATED AT ALL, in a gooey white sauce that was slightly sweet. No hint of lime, no coriander, no spices. All super bland and disgusting, frankly.

We had a couple of bites and complained about the dish. We said this was not really ceviche and the description was misleading. That half of the listed ingredients were missing. It s as if you ordered a steak and got a burger. The restaurant has to take responsibility for their menu and what people expect based on the description in terms of how the food will be cooked/prepared.

The waiter was sympathetic and called the manager. The manager was super rude, he said to my friend she had already eaten a lot so he could not do anything (while she barely got to taste the dish) , in the end we did not manage to get the dish exchanged or get anything else without having to pay twice. anything. My friend left her dish untouched. They brought me some lime and coriander on the side. I was hungry and I don t like to throw out food, especially meat/fish, so I added this to the fish and ate it. Still it was all pretty disgusting.

To be fair, the other people from our party had carpaccio, beef steak and a pizza. They were happy with the food.

The decor was nice and the waiter was nice. He tried his best I guess. The manager is a moron. We won t be going back.

We had reserved a table for 4, we had to ask a waiter for someone to take our order after 30 minutes of waiting. The water we ordered was never served to us but put on the bill and no commercial gesture was made despite the extremely long waits and service errors.

We have never seen so much arrogance and contempt during a service, maybe we are not used enough to have the same attention as the other customers, hardly a goodbye when leaving when we pass the coats to the table next door!

Extremely slow service. Got scammed for 13 euroes, but only realized this when we already left. Food was okay, but definitely overpriced. Not worth it from any point of view, unless you want to waste time and money.

For noon: very good but the service a little too long.

Some of my pasta was not cooked, and my partner's dish had no taste, too bad for a dish made with truffles and chanterelles.

Magnificent view with lively service. Went for lunch and dinner on the same day and needless to say... it was a magical day.

Huge dishes with low quality ingredients, over cooked fish and too much of nothing you want to eat more of.

We reserved a table online at short notice and attended New Year's Eve at the turn of the year. We were served a 5 course meal plus a greeting from the kitchen. The price was very high, but the food was excellent and therefore worth every euro. Music was played by the DJ, who proved a great taste. Equipment is modern, cozy and with panoramic views. The only criticism was the long waiting time between courses, there are still 5 stars.

Nice place in the center. Plentiful dishes but not much cared for

A very nice address from the point of view of the setting and the content of the plates. The tartars are indeed very good. The pizzas offered are also well filled and successful.
The white wine by the glass remains however very excessive (8 ), at this price we expect a 1er cru ... The whole menu is also offered at a fairly high price, but we pay the setting and location.
Remember to book, the address is very busy especially between 12 noon and 2 p.m. Not recommended if you have less than 2 hours in front of you, the service is very long.

This place is pleasant and above all friendly ... more than adequate meal!

We got warmed food from the freezer. Less than three minutes. And our food was right in front of us. The dessert was also warmed from the freezer. Absolutely not recommended !! Greetings Giesbers Jointing

Stepped in with my friends after we arrived in Luxembourg right before the kitchen closed, and the staff were kind enough to let us put in a dinner order! We all had a different pasta and each one of them was delicious. Decor and ambiance of this place is so lovely, definitely would recommend! Docking one star because my group didn't really like the drinks we ordered, but they were definitely on the more innovative side.

It was very good but a little expensive anyway even the pasta dish. The cocktails are also very good.
Note to the manager, the waitresses do not stop running in all directions and come and see you all the time. It makes you dizzy

Saturday night is fine if you want to have a lively party atmosphere as it gets very busy however the service is amazing! The waiters are attentive, professional and friendly.

Located on the first floor with a superb view of the Place de Paris and the Avenue de la Gare. Catering varied at average cost. Very good preparation. Also suitable for groups. Book before.

The entertaining view from the large windows does not make up for the exorbitant price of dishes whose flavor does not match the price. The service is pretty decent and the decor is nice.

Catastrophe. Don't go there. I repeat don't go there. Under any circumstances. Food was an epic fail: how can you ever fail on a pizza diavola ? Well they did. The whole pizza has a whopping total of 5 slices of pepporoni. I repeat 5 slices. And to enjoy this luxury piece of art, you will be seated in the kids area all the way to the back in the darkest spot of the restaurant (i guess someone was hoping that the lack of light will be enough to hide the 5 slices on the pizza). Only bright side, our waiter was really nice.

One of the best surprises of Strogoff is the service. Staff is very friendly and quick, something that is usually non existent in Luxembourg. Food has its highs and lows, nice charcuterie s and cheeses. Pizzas are very nice and the pasta is so so. Drinks are also usually good to very good. A great place for lunch and dinner and it has a nice view with the big panoramic windows!
