We travel from Waterford to this location because it was our favorite. It s my sons favorite restaurant in general, so he chose to celebrate his 9th birthday here. We went in last night, party of 9, there was a 30 minute wait and then we were seated in a room with just one table. Our severe came and took our drink order, then disappeared for 15 minutes, being that we were secluded we couldn t flag down anyone for assistance. When she came back she took our order and our soup and salad order. Again, disappeared for another 30 minutes. 40 minutes in we finally got our soup, the soup was COLD, not hot, Not warm. We stirred in the cheese that couldn t even melt in the slightest, it was 9p so were starting to get upset and already ready to go, but for the sake of my son we stayed. We couldn t eat the soup, so we waited for the server to come back. After waiting another 30 minutes we went to the front and let them know. A manager apologized and said he d be back with soup. Another 20 minutes passed by and we hadn t heard from the waitress or the manager. We went to the front again and we re told someone would be out soon and they apologized. 10 minutes later the manager came and apologized saying they had to start from scratch with the soup and served our soup. That s nice but a heads up or a time frame would have been better. It s about 10p now and we finally get our dinner. We sang happy birthday with a cake that we brought. We had asked upon arrival for it to be put in the fridge, but that didn t happen until 10p. My daughter finished half her plate and the waitress came and boxed up the food. I wasn t going to complain although this was the worst experience we ve ever had & I felt horrible for my son. As I am trying to heat up my daughters left overs I notice she only boxed the grapes and fries and not her Mac and cheese that she had half a plate left of. We will never be able to return here after the horrible night and birthday celebration we had to deal with.m. Other than the apology from the manager, no one cared that a babies birthday was ruined and a table of people paying for their food had to wait two hours to eat and send food back. A little empathy goes a long way especially when it s 100% on the establishment.
